At BRAVE, our worship is geared to lead our congregations and encourage them to worship God. BRAVE Worship is a community of many people from all of our campus' across Colorado, that use their gifts of music in worship to lead our congregations to Jesus. This includes individuals with vocal and instrumental abilities, serving throughout BRAVE (e.g. Student Ministries, Young Adults, BRAVE Kids, etc...).

In order to build a consistently high level of excellence for all of our ministry areas, we strive to place our most gifted and effective team members into the most prominent leadership roles each time our people gather together. We look for both character and competency in our leaders, and seek to build these gifts in them as they lead others within the ministry. Building strong and balanced teams for each service/event is very important, so we place a high priority on training and coaching our leaders to oversee their respective teams.

When you seek to be a part of BRAVE Worship, you understand that our pastors and leadership will prayerfully consider the best placement for you and your gifts. While you will likely be placed in a specific area of ministry to serve, we want to encourage you that there will be times (or seasons) when we ask you to serve elsewhere. We will always look to position you according to your gifts and desires, but the church and ministry needs will ultimately be the deciding factor when scheduling.

We are accepting initial auditions through video submissions now, but first we want to get to know a little more about you! Take a moment and fill out the audition application below. You will also see another link for details and requirements for video submissions. If there is any reason that you are unable to do a video, just let us know and we will find a way to work with you. We’re excited about all that God is doing in and through our worship ministry, and we’re looking forward to hearing and seeing you!

STEP 2 AUDITION DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • IF YOU HAVEN'T FILLED OUT STEP 1, PLEASE GO BACK AND COMPLETE STEP 1 FIRST BEFORE COMPLETING STEP 2.
  • We are currently accepting auditions through video submissions! We’re looking forward to seeing and hearing your videos!
  • If you want to audition for multiple instruments, or an instrument and vocals, please make sure that you record the appropriate song choices for each instrument.
  • Please keep in mind we would like to hear the recording you are singing or playing with, but don't let it be SO loud that it overpowers you. We want to hear you! 
  • Vocalists, please sing melody on the verse and chorus of one song of your choice. If you are also able to sing harmony, please record another video as you sing along with one verse and chorus or bridge on a song of your choice.
  • Guitar players, please dial in the tones and sounds that you would use as if you were going to do it live with the full band. (Ex. delays, reverb, drives, etc.)
  • Once we review all of the videos, our worship department will be in touch about next steps.
  • You may be asked to come in for a live call back.
  • Videos can be done with a video camera, a smart phone, an iPad, or a personal camera. This doesn’t need to be professional quality. We just need to see and hear you.
